dotalyzer has been updated;

• Dupe-checker added.

Not much coding love for dotalyzer for about 2 months thanks to my new job keeping me busy, but i’ve been talking to peeps regarding banner swaps and stuff, and considering there’s over 500 builds on the site now, i’ve added a dupe checker to the builders.

For skill builds, the checker won’t allow you to add builds that are one to one copies of any existing skill build.  For item builds, the checker doesn’t care about the order of the items and will not allow you add an item build if a similar build, regardless of item order, exists already.  Any debate over actual buy order of item builds can be noted in the build’s comments.

I’d just like to inform everyone of the exciting news that now, fifteen years after I first connected to the internet, my phone, electrical AND water company will now stop sending me snail-mail, and email me my bills.  Water company was last to introduce this feature on Jan 2 2009.

Finally, the opressive corporations that were forcing me to frequently march out of my house to the end of my drive to check if I had to send THEM money have put an end to this walk-of-shame.  I can at last fill the slot on my mailbox with expanding foam, hopefully sending the dimwitted leaflet deliverer a message that “No circulars, no papers, addressed mail only” means I don’t want to start a new community library in my mailbox.

• Items now show required components to build, and gold cost
• Item builds now have a total gold cost
• User activity can be seen via a link on the stats module below
• Hero activity can be seen via a link on the stats module below

• You can now pin any item build and skill build to the top right column by clicking the pin icon on the build. You do not need to be logged in to do this.
• Voting system updated.
• You can no longer vote on your own item/skill builds or comments. Any previous self-voting has been removed.
• You can remove any vote you’ve made by clicking the coloured arrow at any time.

• Added ‘Skill Builds’ feature. All heroes have links under their icons that allow for toggling between item or kill builds.
• You can now scroll down the latest builds and find a “more” link which will allow you to browse through all the latest builds 10 at a time.
